When I first noticed the Meat-N-More shop, my mind immediately leapt to the story of Sweeney Todd. I don’t know if it was because it was late, cold and I was in a strange place. (Well, it was strange to me. I had never been to that seaside town before.) No, I definitely did not go into the shop.
What happens on the second floor of that Meat-N-More shop? Why are there no windows? Why was it open so late?
As I write this post, I appreciate that my initial thoughts and fears are most likely unfounded. Yet, those fears drive home the value and importance of context in understanding the world around us.
