Here’s to the sign makers of the world who have added a touch of quirkiness and a touch of humanity to the public transportation commute around Chicagoland.
Both of these signs could convey the message more simply, but the addition of some “eyes” in the word “look” and the very loving familial graphic on this CTA sign bring a more human connection.
Bravo!
Editor’s note: Clearly the “Hold on to your children” graphic was added to the sign after it was bolted to the wall. I wonder what the original graphic was. Still, “cheers” to whomever decided to add this picture.
I wonder if someday they will have LCD signs that are animaged and frequently change. Like even street signs? Ok, I know, off topic, but I still wonder. :p

Would not surprise me. Shot this video of a street art project in Dublin, Ireland. Not quite at the “every street sign” level, but clearly adaptable.
