Anti Déjà Vu

We’ve all experienced déjà vu before. You know, you feel like you’ve been somewhere before, had a specific conversation before or been through a particular experience before — even though that previous experience may, or may not, have actually occurred.

We’ve also all heard someone mention something or ask a question, or perhaps we’ve overheard a conversation and then we have said to ourselves, ‘Yeah, I was just wondering about that the other day.’

What I was thinking about earlier today is how often do I overhear a conversation, or perhaps hear a program on the radio, and then NOT remember that I was thinking about that exact topic only a short while beforehand.

(Cue the Twilight Zone theme song …)
