As I walked past a dumpster in a relatively clean alley in Chicago, I noticed that it had been tagged rather visibly by someone who goes by the handle of “Theoby”. It’s unclear whether Theoby is into the occult, a fan of RUSH, or the little brother of Wormwood.
Regardless of his true identity, it struck me as odd that Theoby would lay claim to his dominions by tagging the dumpster. Should he not have been bolder, staking his claim to the side of a wall, an unused billboard or a rooftop?
I fear that Theoby may never grow his kingdom beyond the short stretch of that alleyway.
