While staying in a hotel, I was struck to find a bottle opener on the wall in the bathroom. Having been installed next to the shower, I can’t help but think that the idea was to make sure there was a bottle opener nearby during the shower beer.
You wouldn’t want to have gotten in the shower only to find you had forgotten to open your beer before getting all wet. Next think you know, you get the bathroom floor all wet, later soaking your nice clean, dry socks. Best to think ahead with these things.
I’m more of a cocktail or bourbon sipper when it comes to hotel stays. That said, with this hotel’s focus on convenience for the beer drinker, I would definitely need to pick up a six-pack for the night. Shower beers!
