A small shop in Chicago has got me wondering, is the threat of machines taking over society realistic? Is it going to start in our craft room?
Is this just another example of understated marketing, or does the proprietor really have sewing machines with the ability to reason? To be safe, let’s send over the Terminator to find out.
Being the seamstress that I am, I would like to have a reasonable sewing machine. I find that the one I have is often times quite UNREASONABLE!!!
Do you think they might also sell unreasonable sewing machines? Would they sell for a lower price?
@ Mom
Perhaps I could just trade in my unreasonable one for a reasonable one?
@ Mom
Perhaps this is a stretch, but I’d think they’d probably sell the reasonable machines for a reasonable price, and the unreasonable ones…well, they’d probably be asking for some unreasonable amount for them!
@ Conall
Based on the unreasonable nature of the machines, wouldn’t you think it would be a better sales pitch if they sold the unreasonable ones for a reasonable price and the reasonable ones for the unreasonable amount?
I don’t know what’s worse, an unreasonable sewing machine or a shallow trolley. Neither are very helpful!
