Less Enjoyable Job Assignments

IMG_4441-0.JPGMost jobs have aspects which are not too pleasant. Today’s nod to a less enjoyable task goes toward whoever dealt with the situation that led to this sign.

IMG_4443.JPGWith so much highlighting and underlining, it really conveys the urgency of the emotion that the author felt when writing the sign.

Dog owners, it’s this sign helpful or does it need to provide information on an alternative trash location for poop?

  1. First, I think there was a second highlighter to come along and second the original authors motion. Second, dogless people do not understand how frustrating (though totally worth while) it can be to own a dog. You have to walk the little beast every day, and he or she will go where he or she elects to go. Picking up said go is fairly simple with the proper equipment, but carrying said equipment for a long period of time is not at all convenient. Having done so I can tell you that a properly tied baggie will contain doggie business indefinitely, but it is still best if you can rid yourself of it in a timely manner. I argue that it is less of an inconvenience to have a properly tied baggie in a properly lined trash receptacle than it is to have it on hand for an extended period of time.

  2. I don’t own a dog for the exact reasons that Jordan listed above.

That said, I imagine that the backstory to today’s post is that waste bin where the dog poo was dropped is in a warm room or space. And it was probably dropped in a loosely tied grocery bag. So, people started to complain about the smell. And that smell lead to today’s blog post.
