The office copier seems to think that warming up is a state of readiness. I am not so sure that I agree.
I play a fair amount of soccer and try to do a good bit of warm up before each game. If I am in warming up mode, I am definitely not yet game ready.
Yet occasionally I arrive late to the field and have to play without warm-up. In those cases, I play without warning up, but I do not consider myself “ready.”
No resolution here. Just a question: is warming up a part of the ready state, or is it just a necessary prerequisite for readiness?
Ponder this perhaps as you wait for your copier to warm up today.
It is ready but parenthetically warming up.
Forgot the check box… again.
