We have all seen them, the posts and signs announcing some upcoming party or DJ at a local club. On most occasions the posters look pretty similar … jammed packed with the names of the DJ’s or bands performing. And for some reason these posters always get plastered on street signs.
But has anyone ever gone to such an event based on driving past the sign? And I am referring specifically to a DJ event advertised on a street sign. (You can tell that I never have … I don’t think ‘DJ event’ is the right name for whatever is being advertised.)
So, have you?
The silence following this post makes me wonder whether I am, in fact, the only one to ever see these signs …
Maybe it just means that none of us have ever attended these types of events either.
I have noticed these types of signs, usually for the circus or some shady type of event that I never attend. But I have noticed them.
@ bridget:
Hey! Circuses aren’t necessarily shady! I’ve been to the circus and it was perfectly legitimate and respectable.
Oh I am not disputing the fact that some are not shady, but most of the posters I have seen look like they were made in someone’s basement, and therefore are not the most, authentic looking.
i appear to have stumbled into moron central.
/me deletes internet history just incase i stumble across this page in error in the future
@ bob:
Welcome to chickemonkeydog.com. Thanks for the comments – always happy to have varying opinions.
That said, perhaps if you expressed yourself in a less moronic fashion, someone would have a clue of what you’re on about.
In the meantime, happy surfing.
