Seen outside the parking lot of a Chase bank in Phoenix.
So it appears that not only have people tried to sell their cars there, but they have done so often enough to justify the bank having a sign. The discerning observer will note that the sign matches the one above and is not some haphazard cardboard-and-sharpie add-on sign.
Maybe car sellers are tiring of the “I’m $300 short, is that cool?” negotiating tactic.
Personally, I feel like it’s a lost opportunity. If I owned a bank, my sign would have said “Drive-thru car loans”.
What happens to the unlucky patron who just happens to have posted a ‘For Sale’ sign in his car window for free advertising as he runs errands? Does he get towed, but at the bank’s expense?
I agree with the editors! This sign is a missed business opportunity!
