There was a really interesting article on the BBC website this week about how Hitler stole the swastika from humanity. The swastika had been a much loved shape for centuries before the Nazis made it their own — and through their inhumanity to the Jewish people of Europe and to many others, ruined that ancient design for the foreseeable future.
Who or what else in history has so dramatically and terribly taken over a shape or design such that subsequently, no right-thinking person would want to use or be associated with that shape?
It’s not really evil, but does anyone know if the chevron shape was named from the company logo or the company was named for the shape?
