No hormones

The packaging reads:

No hormones. Federal Regulations prohibit the use of hormones in poultry.

So, were chicken farmers injecting testosterone in roosters to make them more attractive to the chickens? Something else?

And I love that the implication that hormones are not used because of Federal Regulations — and not as a result of, say, a sense of not messing with Mother Nature.

Growth hormone. More chicken for the money. And whose regulations prohibit that?

    Oh, and First!
