I have never used charging stations before because there are always far fewer seats than actual outlets. But with a locker, it’s perfect! Lock your phone in safely, take a stroll or run an errand and come back for it in a bit.
Only in theory though.
After securing my phone with lock and key, I noticed that most of the phone owners still loitered around the booth. I was curious to see if people really would leave their oh so addictive devices behind. So I waited too … to see if my hypothesis would come true. And it did.
Quirky observation: at one point, a single phone vibrated from behind the closed doors. The response from the phone-owners hovering around the charging station was telling: they all sprung out their keys to this ‘cabinet of curiosity’.

I think I would sit there texting myself repeatedly just to see everyone jump up over and over!
