It is that time of year when the Aspen trees of Colorado begin to change into a marvelous yellow color, dotting the dark green landscape. It is one of the most remarkable sights that I have seen. Apparently all the roots are connected, with some colonies being as old as 80,000 years and weighing 6,000,000 kg.
As curious as I was about the organism, I found this guy to be more fascinating:
Thoughts that came to mind:
- Was he so mesmerized by the trees that he wanted to have a front-row view?
- Is he about to launch himself into the abyss of beautiful forest?
- Is there something even more beautiful beyond him that he is preventing others from seeing?
- Is this a sexy new BMW ranger vehicle?
- Is the photo more beautiful with or without the BMW there?
- Could I photoshop the photo so that there was a twin BMW on the other side kissing this one?
- This must be very confusing for a deer.
