Why is the vast majority of dryer lint the same color and texture?
Sure, if you have a unique load of laundry (e.g. A load of new red t-shirts), the lint may be biased toward a different color or texture. However, most average laundry loads produce this grayish bluish fleece-like lint.
Who knows what that is all about?
