I always use way too much shampoo during my first shower after I get a new haircut. And since today I got a haircut, I wasted shampoo.
Does anyone else have this problem? Can we talk about it?

So it seems I’m the only one with the need to re-calibrate their shampoo usage after a major change in the hairdo. It surely is a lonely world.
Maybe some of us just feel like it is too personal to talk about on the internet.
@ conall
I like to use a lot of shampoo after a hair cut as I feel that it helps to gets more of the cut hairs off and help prevent itching.
@ maire
too personal for the internet? apparently you are not getting the same spam as the rest of us…it seems as though almost nothing is too personal for the internet
I predilute my shampoo, so it’s not much of a waste.
Shampoo? I just use the same soap I use on my face; Neutrogena. Keeps everything squeaky clean!
I just wait for a good rain-shower after a haircut. Keeps it natural that way.
I hate when this happens and find it most annoying when I go from really long hair (mid back) to short hair (around my chin). That drastic of a change often requires a few showers before the shampoo ratio can be properly corrected.
After all these comments it becomes clear that my “extra shampoo after a haircut” tendency is actually one of the more tame ones out there.
@Mark
Thanks for giving me a good reason to use the extra shampoo. Now I don’t have to feel bad!
