A scientific discovery seen inside Liverpool Street Station on the way towards Shoreditch:
The sign reads “This hose reel is no longer in use so please refrain from using it.”
So, is that one of Einstein’s theories: that which is not in use tends to stay not in use?
I think this is more like a Newtonian law, but don’t hold me to that.
i suppose if it were actually in use one could not begin to use it either.
Anyone have any idea why the note has “Hose Reels” written on top and underlined? If it is to identify this object, why is it plural? Also, if they don’t want people to use the hose reel, why make the biggest text on the sign say “hose reels”?
