This sign immediately caught my attention. If I paused my stroll past this gate was I likely to become lunch for a street-tough pack of local raccoons?
Moving quickly beyond what I hoped would be the range of those raccoons, I began to think about the public discussion that took place among local village elected officials as they debated the need for passing Ordinance No. C-00-48.
