A hotel where I recently stayed provided this fly swatter on the closet shelf.
To this day, I have not been able to decide if I think this was nice of them to anticipate an issue and provide me with appropriate tools to address it. Alternatively, is it a bad thing that they readily admit to having a problem with flies, but leave it to me to address the symptoms?
The state of Pennsylvania has a shoo fly pie made largely of molasses, brown sugar and pastry. That should discourage insects. (PS it is pie shaped and cannot be used as a swatting implement).
