I have to wonder if the sensitivity of the septic system is a trait of the system’s personality and so, because it prefers toilet paper, the owner wants us to treat it kindly.
Or is this about some new type of toilet paper? “Try the new Septic System Sensitive” from Charmin!
Besides the obvious congrats to this note-writer has for alliteration, I would like to also give kudos for the little artistic design below the sign; makes it suit the fancy bathroom better.
And, thanks to a sharp-eyed reader from Austin, Texas who sent in the picture below, we also bring you the following question: when did “sharps” become a word?
TP that is designed specifically for the type of plumbing it will eventually end up in. I like it.
Reference ‘sharps’, the word was being used by hospital staff as long ago as the mid-90s to refer to needles, knives and other sharp objects that might be infected and that could pierce skin to spread disease. It might have been in use even before then.
