You know you’ve got it made when you start having parking spots reserved just for you. Close to the door, convenience reigns supreme.
Now imagine if you had a parking spot reserved for you 700 years after you died, in a city you had never visited, just in case you ever show up?
I admit that I would think it was really cool if I was wandering through some random city and found a parking spot reserved for me, especially if it was a city I had never been to before.

Perhaps this sign is not reserving a spot for him, but rather a simple notice posted for the sole benefit of a roaming Marco Polo to advise him that this spot is reserved for parking, not necessarily his parking. I am not sure that if Marco Polo suddenly was resurrected that he would be familiar with a parking lot.
