On a Train to …

Train sign reading 'Check front of train'

Um … okay, a number of thoughts here:

  1. Should we be concerned that London Underground is not entirely certain of where the next train to arrive at the station is heading?
  2. Where is ‘Check front of train’? Is that close to Earls Court?
  3. Is that anything close to a decent way to treat travellers? Making them guess where the train is heading?

  1. Perhaps this is the list of critical steps required to successfully ride the train.

Step 1: Check the front of the train (unfortunately they don’t tell you what to check for)

Step 4: Edgeware (mystifying, perhaps this means by step 4 you’ve arrived in Edgeware)

So the question is, what are steps 2 and 3? Well, you’ve got 12 minutes after step 1 to figure it out!

  2. It also seems they aren’t too concerned with safety since to have a decent look at the front of the train you’d need to be on the rails….

  3. From the clock on the sign, it’s clear that it’s late at night. Maybe it’s the 3rd shift’s way of messing with drunks trying to get home.
