Driving around chasing a few to do items on my errand list, I saw the following sign.
There wasn’t much else around the sign. It got me to thinking, did the person who put up the sign intend the word ‘PRODUCE’ as a noun or verb? Was it acknowledgment of the existence of vegetables or a command to create?
I think it was a makeshift inkblot test. Yes, I do suppose this would be less makeshift than an inkblot, but what ya gonna do?
It was a borg directive, so get back to work! 🙂
I think it must be an open-ended phrase that the author did not intend as a question or as a statement. It was simply a word posted to encourage passers-by to ponder matters deeper than the traffic surrounding them.
