Does a negative multiplied by a negative equal a positive in language too?
I suggest that perhaps, in this instance at least, it might.
Sure, maybe sometimes fire is good and sometimes you are glad to get an escape, so perhaps they are not totally negative words. But generally I think fire is something to be avoided and wouldn’t you prefer to be in a situation that did not require escape?
