Don’t these balconies remind you of speech bubbles (resembling those of iMessenger)?

  1. The new retractable fire escape was recalled after designers at the Norwegian company Rjmehdjenderonj realized Monday that the design required electricity to unfurl; electricity which might not be available in the case of a fire. A hamster-wheel powered model is currently in production, though skeptics question the companies ability to properly train the hamsters in a way that will generate alternating current. Animal rights advocates are also up in arms as the hundred and fifty hamsters will receive the equivalent of half minimum wage in sunflower seeds.

  2. I thought it was intended to be a tetris style design so when the balconies all fall from the building cleanup will be much easier.

  3. Is it just me or do those balconies look like the pop-ups from VH1 pop-up videos, where those little bubbles of information popped onto the screen when the video was playing?

    Yes? Yes? Yes?
