A typical “please turn off the lights” type sign is made hilarious by the note at the bottom:
“Note: This notice is not meant for you who are reading this notice…
Reading this sign, I felt so entrapped! I turned off the light, but felt like perhaps I should not have read the sign.
By the way, If you are reading this post, it is not meant for you to read.
Any clue as to for whom the notice is meant?
If I read the notice and it reminds me that I should turn off the lights, do I then ignore the notice and not turn off the lights since it is not meant for me? What if I only visit the bathroom only once and leave the lights on? Is the notice still not for me since I have not left the lights on repeatedly?
Maybe the owners of that bathroom should have consulted with the staff at this doctor’s office.
