On the weekends in Cape Town we have a fabulous car boot sale market in Milnerton. Well I think it’s fab – one friend describes it as ‘a bunch of homeless people selling $#!% to other homeless people’.
Recently, I bought this red hand at that market. Most visitors are perplexed by the red hand. One smart observer said: “Hey – now you can high five yourself.”
Finally, someone who gets me.
Is the high five preceeded by saying “and…..HIGH FIVE!”
I think this may be a subversively political post. I’m not entirely sure of the intended meaning, but could the picture be a way of dissing the red hand of Ulster?
