I was a replacing a light bulb in my bathroom the other day and had some trouble putting the dome back. The holes for the screws were too small and too smooth for me to feel.
Then a thought struck: what if I had an extra eye, even a rudimentary one, on my fingertips? That would have made my job a lot easier.
Jump ahead to the next logical thought and my question to you: If you could move a sense organ around, which one would it be, where would you move it to, and why?
At the risk of being a buzz kill to the mischevious thoughts, we ask that in keeping with the good-natured spirit of CMD, you keep your responses reasonably clean.
Existing eyes… with infrared vision! … that I can turn off and on. That would get annoying.
Also, why do you guys no longer have a check box to email replys anymore. 🙁
@ Jordan,
Good question! We’ll look into that functionality and see if we can bring it back. Sorry about that.
By the way, today’s post reminded me of this amazing new ‘seeing’ device:

@Jordan,
interesting. Any specific uses you had in mind?
Well, I wouldn’t move my nose (smell) to my bottom, that’s for sure!
Though, I might want to move my taste sensation to my nose- so that when I smelled something lovely,I would taste it as well.
@ Jordan,
Per your request, we have re-added the ‘Notify me of follow-up comments’ functionality. You should see it at the bottom of the comments box.
