Since when is the hotel housekeeper not allowed to touch the “personal belongs” on the bed in order to make the bed? If they truly are not allowed to touch clothing, I cannot imagine that many beds in that hotel every get made.
But hey, I noticed the very clear period mark after the words “Sorry Bed.” That was nice of you. I’m sure the bed appreciated the sentiment. I, however, did not appreciate the unmade bed.
I also notice that you have personal belongs – which is really interesting – I only have belongings.
One time my buddy woke up with a half-eaten McDonald’s chicken sandwich underneath his arm. The sandwich had been apparently placed under the covers of a bed that looked like it was made. Those housekeepers can be brutal if they don’t like you. By the way, my post is also a warning to those who may decide to stay at the Holiday Inn in Bluefield, WV. I’m not saying. I’m just saying.
@Steve
May we infer that by “buddy” you mean…you?
This was really a friend. I would have no problem admitting to be the victim of a run-by-chickening.
@ Steve,
So, did your friend have half a chicken sandwich for breakfast?
Haha. Well, I would guess no but I do not recall the rest of the story to say that with full confidence. I would assume that he threw it away or left it there for the housekeeper to take care of. However, given this post, a note might have been left saying they could not make the bed due to food items left on the bed.
