A four-door Jeep caught my eye on a recent sunny, Saturday morning. Sure, sure, I liked the look of the truck, but what made me look twice was the sign posted to the front passenger door.
I rather suspect that the neighbors of whoever buys this truck would be less than pleased to see him driving all over their yards. It got me to daydreaming …
The neighbor of the Jeep’s Owner is awakened at 3.00 in the morning to the sound of an engine revving loudly in his backyard. Sticking his head out the window, the neighbor shouted at the Jeep’s owner.
Neighbor: Hey, what the %£+? are you doing?
Jeep Owner: Off roading!
Neighbor: On my yard?!?
Jeep Owner: Yep! Anywhere … any place … any time!
I would like to off road in the year 1822. Where do I sign up?

I have often thought it would be awesome to drive an off-road vehicle through a battlefield in the 1800’s. While muskets would tear holes through the vehicle, I am betting the shock factor would prevent most soldiers from shooting me.
Just hit me – aren’t any place and anywhere really the same thing?
