An Odd Show of Thanks

A gift bag with 50 microns on it

A close-up of 50 microns

This somewhat blurry pictures are of a plastic gift bag. Along with the words “thank you” and  “best wishes” is the somewhat oddly placed phrase “50 microns”.

What do you suppose is the meaning behind the  50 microns?

  1. I will defer to the many smart math people that read this blog, but I thought microns were a measurement. It is still odd that the size would be noted in microns, and in the same size font and pattern as the “Thank you”. I am not sure if 50 microns would make any sense as to the size of the bag either because I can’t recall if a micron is big or small.

  2. There are 10,000 microns in one centimeter. I’m assuming its the thickness– oh never mind. This is geek bate isn’t it? I see how it is. :p
