I’ve seen some lorries (“semi-trucks” for our American readers) with unexpected messages and more extraordinary bumper stickers, but never before has one so prominently announced that Jesus cares.
But what does he care about? The shipping cargo? Africa? Or is this meant to be some sort of pre-emptive display of condolences for when the lorry runs over your foot. I truly hope it’s one of the former, because the latter seems rather mocking.
Was the ‘Jesus Cares’ sign on the trailer put there by the owner/driver, or is it an evangelical ad by some group of travelling missionaries?
If he cares so much maybe he could do something about the crippling poverty, disease, hunger, etc.?
