We’ve highlighted some interesting pizza policies of late, and today, we’re bringing up the topic again.
As you can read in the picture above, Uno’s offers a guarantee that each item is 100% accurate. I’ll leave alone the fact that such a guarantee is vague to the point of useless, to focus on what I think is a lack of remedy behind the guarantee. “If it’s not right, let us know.” That’s it? No refund? No future discount? No nuthin’?
In addition, wouldn’t it sound more sensible to substitute “Item” with “order”?
I never think of an order from a pizza place as an item, even individually, but as an order, both singularly and collectively.
