Drinking tea by the pint glass is generally fine.
However, when your tea looks like it might be an ale
. . . and you’re on a webcam
. . . and it is eight in the morning
. . . and you might be having a business meeting over said webcam, it may not be wise.
I can totally sympathize with this post. I had a similarly embarrassing experience:

Excellent! And enjoyed your story too Liam.
I once had a similar problem when I was drinking tea in a small cocktail glass (I didn’t want a tall glass). It’s dark color (brewed longer than usual) had an almost whisky quality to it and my boss, seeing it upon my desk, wondered aloud if I was drinking at work.
… and tea gets cold =(
@ Balu –
What’s worse, cold tea or cold coffee?
what about drinking beer out of a tea glass at a pub?
@Liam
Who cares. Any caffeine source good! Drink up and kiss your endocrine system good buy.
I’m a programmer; which is a device for converting caffeine into code.
@ Jordan,
Jolt? Mountain Dew? Clearly not all caffeine sources are not created equal.
@Liam, But they are endowed with the unalienable right to be awesome. :p
