Cross Fence

What a fine cross walk! What shall we install on the other side? Why…a fence surely will do nicely.

The new black fence at the end of this crosswalk perplexes me.

An attempt to curtail pedestrians from crossing the nicely planted flower bed is fair enough, but with a long standing painted crosswalk ending right there, it just doesn’t seem that well thought out.
