With Benefits

The meaning of the little phrase “with benefits” sure does change drastically based on usage.

For example, take a “friend with benefits” and a “job with benefits.”

Now, a friend that provides the benefits a job might, could work well.  It might be nice to have a friend that pays for all your health insurance, sends you on paid  vacations and subsidizes your gym membership.

However, a job that provides the benefits a friend might, well, that’s probably just a creepy and weird job!
