Seeing Eye to Eye

Problematic Rules

In a restaurant in a town not too far from my own, I used a unisex restroom in which hung the above mirror. As I’m of average height, it amused me — was the person who hung this mirror 6’5″? I get it – hang the mirror at eye level. And it well could be hanging at eye level. But whose eye level? Perhaps the fixture could have been more universally friendly. A large, rectangular mirror, perhaps? One that doesn’t require you be a certain height to use it, but covers a larger span of the wall? Or could they have supplied us with a step stool?
