Text and Talk walking lanes

Thank you Mr. Graffiti Artist for making walking lanes for those folks cruising down the street so engrossed in their texting or phone conversations that they cannot look up to see where they are going!

The sidewalk is much safer now for all involved. Now, could you please integrate a system to text the phone user when it will be safe to cross the street?

  1. I hate smart phones. I know that is taboo, but I detest them. Mobile in general is a largely unnecessary decadence that is watering down our culture.

Technology is fire, and we are being careless.

  2. Thanks for Thoreau-ing that out there for us Jordan! Reminded me of this line from Walden, “We do not ride on the railroad; it rides upon us.”

  3. I’m sorry. I’m a programmer. I love technology. But we’ve crossed a line with mobile. What remains of our culture and community is degrading. Children raised within this new atmosphere are becoming socially retarded. We are replacing people with machines.

And not in the really cool Matrix way.
