A fire hydrant

As a heatwave attacks much of the USA this week, many children will be looking to the fire hydrant just down the street to provide relief. While the editors of chickenmonkeydog neither condone nor disapprove of this cooling activity, we can appreciate that enjoying some cold, waterous fun is a good way to escape the stifling heat.

Ha ha! Waterous is a company that makes fire pumps and other equipment for the industry. They’re a competitor to one of my clients. I’ve never seen their name on a hydrant though. Thanks for giving them free press … (Liam, I shall take this up with you later!)

    @ Deb,

D’oh! Now we’ve gone on done it!

P.S. The Editors of chickenmonkeydog did not receive any payment from Waterous for the posting of the above photos.

I’m sure you didn’t. They don’t do much marketing!

    @ Deb,

Maybe we should email them the link and ask for a promotions fee? Ha-ha!
