I am standing in the airport waiting for my flight, when a voice comes over the speakers, “Unattended baggage will be removed and destroyed for security reasons.”
Now I wonder where this room of destruction is. Does the baggage get incinerated? Roughly how much throughput of destruction does a large airport have?
Is it a fun job? Dangerous?
What does the business card say? Is the job title simply “Baggage Destroyer” or something more broad?
Questions to ponder as I wait, wait, and wait for this flight.
